An art projection-mapping work by JIAYU LIU and JuilletStar MotionDesign Studio: light projected onto crafted wood, so that traditional material and digital light complete each other.劉家禹與星傳禧動態設計工作室的藝術光雕：把光雕投影投在木作工藝上，讓傳統材質與數位光影相輔相成。
Light of the Forest is an art projection-mapping work by ROBOTOFU member JIAYU LIU and JuilletStar MotionDesign Studio. Traditional craft and projection mapping, wood and light, need not compete: projecting light onto crafted wood gives traditional craft a new way to be seen.
Background
During the pandemic, craft makers lost exhibition opportunities and visitors. Working as multimedia and moving-image creators, the studio introduced the hardware, software and simple creative methods of projection mapping to practitioners, teachers and students of ceramics, lacquer, wood, bamboo and rattan, metal and glass — giving their work a fresh visual presence both on display and online.
Workshop
On 19 February 2022 the studio held the workshop 「工藝人e起來之光雕投影 vs. 工藝材料應用工作坊」 at 台中首都藝術中心 (Taichung), with Light of the Forest as its theme. Instructors: 廖述昌, JIAYU LIU 劉家禹 and 黃絜如.
《森之光》是 ROBOTOFU 成員劉家禹與星傳禧動態設計工作室的藝術光雕作品。傳統工藝與光雕投影、木頭材質與光影效果，不必是對立競爭的關係——在木作上加上光雕投影，讓傳統工藝有了不一樣的展現方式。
創作背景
疫情期間，工藝創作者的展出機會與參觀人數大幅減少。星傳禧以多媒體與影像創作者的角度，把光雕投影的軟硬體操作與簡易創作方法，介紹給陶瓷、漆藝、木藝、竹藤、金工、玻璃等工藝的從業者、教學者與學習者，讓工藝品在實體展示與線上影像中，都能有煥然一新的視覺體驗。
工作坊
2022 年 2 月 19 日，星傳禧於台中首都藝術中心舉辦「工藝人e起來之光雕投影 vs. 工藝材料應用工作坊」，以《森之光》為創作主題，講師為廖述昌、劉家禹、黃絜如。
