ABOUT THE WORK作品介紹

A white dove flies over Taiwan’s mountains and towering cities and disappears into the night. Then New Year’s fireworks bloom in the sky. Just an ordinary day.白鴿飛越臺灣的山與高樓，消失在夜裡；接著，新年煙火在夜空綻放。只是平常的一天。

Taiwan 2034/1/1 is an original ROBOTOFU animation directed by CHENG WEIZHI, who also created the animation, 3D and 2D.

Taipei’s streets, landmarks, military vehicles and the Taipei Bridge motorcycle waterfall were built in Cinema 4D, then turned into hand-drawn-looking animation through NPR (3D-to-2D) rendering.

01　Romantic Route 3

One of the tunnels on Romantic Route 3, a road that winds deep into Taiwan’s mountains. If you ride a motorcycle, you have to come here.

02　Taipei 101

Taipei 101 was once the tallest building in the world. It no longer is, but its distinctive architecture still defines the whole of Taipei.

CHENG WEIZHI hid many secrets in this scene: the logos on buildings across the city belong to Taiwan’s top 100 companies. You may see these brands every day — and be surprised that they all come from Taiwan.

03　Motorcycle Waterfall

The Motorcycle Waterfall pours off Taipei Bridge. Taiwan is one of the most scooter-dense places in the world, and this view became famous internationally through the Japanese photographer deepsky.

CHENG WEIZHI placed the flags of many of Taiwan’s political parties along both sides of the Motorcycle Waterfall.

白鴿飛過哪裡？

01　浪漫台三線

這是浪漫台三線上的一座隧道。台三線是一條深入臺灣山區的公路，騎重機的人一定要來一趟。

02　台北 101

台北 101 曾是世界第一高樓。雖然現在不是了，它獨特的建築美學仍點綴著整座台北。

程威誌在這個場景藏了許多秘密：城市各處建築上的 Logo，都是臺灣前 100 大企業。你可能天天看到這些品牌，卻沒想到它們都來自臺灣。

03　機車瀑布

機車瀑布位於台北橋。臺灣是全世界機車最密集的地方之一，這個景象經日本攝影師 deepsky 拍攝後在國際上走紅。

程威誌在機車瀑布兩旁，放上了臺灣許多政黨的旗幟。
