Spring Festival, Kinmen. Rain falls over fields that have seen too much. Today, it’s calm. Just another ordinary day.春節，金門。雨落在見過太多的田野上。今天很平靜，只是又一個平常的日子。

Taiwan 2034/2/18 is an original ROBOTOFU animation directed by CHENG WEIZHI, who also created the animation, 3D and 2D.

A Spring Festival in the future. Rain over Kinmen. The standoff remains. So does the pain of the past. And the future…

Kinmen’s landscape, military installations and a 3D town were built in Cinema 4D, then turned into monochrome animation through NPR (3D-to-2D) rendering, including the rain.

Techniques and challenges: NPR (3D-to-2D) rendering / animating Kinmen’s landscape and landmarks / animating military installations / NPR rain simulation / NPR rendering of a 3D town.

作品以 Cinema 4D 建構金門的景物、軍事設施與立體城鎮，再以 3 渲 2 轉成黑白動畫畫面，雨景同樣以 3 渲 2 模擬。
