In Another World, a realm between the living world and the afterlife, Gudo, a spirit who guides souls toward rebirth, meets a young girl whose pain has given rise to a curse that could destroy the world. He vows to stay with her through a thousand years of reincarnation to stop it.
Produced by Point Five Creations in Hong Kong with Silver Media Group and written and produced by Polly Yeung, the film was selected for Midnight Specials at Annecy 2025 and opened the 22nd Hong Kong Asian Film Festival. Released in Hong Kong on 29 October 2025, it set a box-office record for a Hong Kong animated film, and opened in Taiwan on 13 March 2026. GKIDS distributes it in North America.
In October 2026 Another World won the Audience Choice Award at the Taichung International Animation Festival.
在人間與輪迴通往的來世之間，有一異界稱為「世外」。引領亡魂的靈守小鬼，在此處碰上一個亡魂小妹，她身上的巨大痛苦，萌發出撼動世外的惡芽。不願放棄小妹的小鬼，與天女誓願，自己將用千年輪迴，陪伴小妹拔除惡芽。西條奈加小說〈千年鬼〉改編，靈幻動人的世界觀，結合絢麗驚人的斬鬼場景；以勇氣直視人間最深沉的苦與惡，背後又見千年一瞬的愛與善。
本片由香港 Point Five Creations 與 Silver Media Group 製作，楊寶文編劇並監製，2025 年入選法國安錫國際動畫影展午夜特映單元，並擔任第 22 屆香港亞洲電影節開幕片；2025 年 10 月 29 日於香港上映，締造香港動畫電影票房紀錄，2026 年 3 月 13 日於臺灣上映。北美由 GKIDS 發行。
2026 年 10 月，《世外》在臺中國際動畫影展獲得觀眾人氣票選獎。
